DARS helps people with disabilities prepare for, find, and succeed in meaningful jobs. Through career counseling, skills training, job placement, and workplace support, DARS empowers individuals to reach their employment goals and build brighter futures.

DARS also works with businesses to access a talented pool of individuals with disabilities ready to contribute to the workforce.

State Rehabilitation Council

The Virginia SRC is a group, made up mostly of individuals with disabilities, that advises and supports the DARS job training programs. Each year, they release a customer satisfaction survey that guides our program to best serve Virginians with disabilities looking for employment.
