What is assistive technology (AT)?
AT falls into two categories:
- Devices
A piece of equipment to help an individual with a disability perform tasks, improve function, and increase independence.
- Services
Any service that assists with finding, attaining, or using assistive technology devices to benefit individuals with disabilities.
