The Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP) offers free, unbiased, and confidential help for people with Medicare.
VICAP counseling is available exclusively through your local Area Agency on Aging.
What can a VICAP Counselor help with?
- Medicare and Medicare Part D (finding a plan that meets your needs)
- Medicare Advantage Plans
- Medigap (Supplemental Insurance)
- Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus (CCC Plus)
- Long-term care insurance
- Appeals, denials, and low-income assistance programs
