With state funding, DARS partnered with the Weldon Cooper Center to create a plan for providing demographic services for Virginia and its 25 Area Agencies on Aging. The report is designed to help aging professionals, policymakers, and the public better understand the demographic data needed to support aging services.
Data Briefs on Aging for Virginia
The Weldon Cooper Center developed data briefs and dashboards with detailed information about older Virginians across the state and in each of the 25 Area Agencies on Aging. Topics include age, gender, race and ethnicity, living arrangements, disability and health, access to technology and transportation, and more.
