About Dementia Capable Virginia
Dementia Capable Virginia is an initiative of the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Commission and the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) with the support and collaboration of the Virginia Department of Health. This initiative provides dementia resources and training materials to individuals, families and caregivers, and supports health care and community services providers in their work with people living with dementia. It also offers information about dementia-related research and how to participate in vital studies.
This program is managed by Dementia Capable Virginia.
